- To support the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across the facility ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and delivering high-quality service.
- Maintain, repair, and replace electrical plant and equipment, including control systems for heating and ventilation.
- Carry out minor electrical installations in existing buildings.
- Use the FM asset management system to plan and record work.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow method statements.
- Liaise with contractors and respond to customer enquiries.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., AM2, 18th Edition, Level 3, testing & inspection).
- Experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working for a large public sector organisation based in Loughborough you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance in both domestic and commercial settings
