- Lead NEC contract administration on behalf of the client, including issuing Early Warnings, Project Manager Instructions, assessing compensation events, and managing programme updates.
- Act as the NEC Project Manager across the full lifecycle of the development, supporting both infrastructure and vertical build phases.
- Oversee contractor compliance with contractual obligations and manage key interfaces across infrastructure and logistics packages.
- Provide strategic oversight of cost, risk, quality, and programme performance, ensuring early identification and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, consultants, and delivery partners to maintain control and drive project success.
- Lead progress reporting, governance input, and commercial updates to senior client stakeholders.
- Uphold rigorous HSEQ standards and promote continuous improvement across all workstreams.
- Extensive experience operating in a client-side NEC Project Manager or Employer's Agent capacity on large-scale infrastructure or logistics projects.
- In-depth working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts and contract administration processes.
- Strong leadership in contract administration, risk mitigation, and contractor management under NEC frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and interface with multiple delivery partners.
- Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Civil Engineering).
- Chartership with RICS, CIOB, ICE, or similar professional body is preferred.
- Confident, proactive, and highly organised, with the ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-profile delivery setting.
