While working alongside a team of experienced technicians, you will play a vital role supporting all technicians and apprentices, as well as carrying out brand specific mechanical and electrical diagnosis to manufacturing guidelines.This is a brilliant opportunity to continue your impressive career in the automotive industry while learning from one of the best Aftersales Managers. This role would suit someone who is ambitious and eager to progress their career, as we can offer the chance to complete a BMW Accredited Master Technician qualification.Responsibilities
  • Supporting and provide guidance for all Technicians and Apprentices within the workshop
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical diagnosis using (Brand specific diagnostic machine) to manufacturers guidelines
  • Assisting the Service and Diagnostic technicians with vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical diagnosis, using computer-based technology
  • Liaising with the manufacturers’ technical team when guidance is required
  • Advising the customer/ manufacturer of any further work required
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure all work has been completed to the Lookers standard
Qualifications/ ExperienceThe ideal candidate to be considered for this role will need to be an Accredited Diagnostic or Senior Technician with NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, has motor industry Franchised Dealer experience, and a full and valid UK driving licence.
