For everyone, everywhere.More about and .Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Product Risk and Compliance Lead to join our Financial Crime Product team, working in our first line of defence, to take our AML/CTF programme to the next level. This role is a unique opportunity to directly impact Wise's mission, whilst developing your skills as a Product Compliance leader.Your MissionYour mission is to enable our global financial crime Product teams (e.g. Fraud, AML, KYC and Screening) to launch new, and enhance existing, financial crime controls. You will achieve this through a deep understanding of financial crime regulations, financial crime risks, and by maintaining direct communication with regulators, auditors and industry peers to understand expectations and areas of opportunity.You will be responsible for a Financial Crime domain, leading a team to:Collaborate with Product teams to help design controls and support in the interpretation of global regulation to ensure our in-house FinCrime product is best in classIdentify and drive enhancements that could improve customer experience, unlock growth, or improve our operational processesUse data to define the effectiveness of controls and support the implementation of an ongoing testing programWork with Product teams to implement and Prioritise control improvements to strengthen our program while finding ways to create efficienciesDefine and deliver project plans for improvements identified internally, by auditors or by third party stakeholdersPerform periodic reviews to ensure our controls remain complaint- reviewing changing regulations and industry guidanceContribute to the monitoring, testing and assurance of controls as part of the annual financial crime risk assessment.QualificationsMinimum 10 years experience working within financial crime, with particular focus on implementing control enhancementsExperience collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop financial crime controlsStrong data analytics skills which you've used to help articulate the health of a financial crime programmeThe ability to drive decisions, convincing internal and external stakeholders on control design and product execution.Experience leading teams, with expertise in scaling both team size and impactExperience working across multiple financial crime regulatory regimes across the globe, with an appreciation for the variance across marketsWillingness to travel to Wise offices located across different countriesAdditional InformationWe're people building money without borders - without judgement or prejudice, too.
