- Ability to train and advise others in all aspects of the QMS and application of associated procedures.
- Carry out and report Internal Audits and associated corrective actions to the ISO Standard
- Coordination of activities to address of Corrective Actions, working with both suppliers and customers as required, fully analysing problems, and implementing effective solutions
- Develop internal business process maps and implementation on the EQMS.
- Support the maintenance of companywide Training process and associated records
- Coordinate the departmental risk register action and monitor appropriate risk mitigations
- Support the reporting on appropriate KPIs to the Executive and Management Teams
- Work with Production teams to complete full investigations into root cause analysis on defective products especially on the return of products with any quality related issues
- Develop any training collateral to the required ISO/IATF Standard associated with any of the above activities.
- Work with the Quality Manager in running of the Quality Department thus supporting all aspects of Quality across Paragraf including tasks related to the ISO 9001 certification.
- Support activities associated with Paragraf’s ISO 45001 certification.
- Manage activities to support successful accreditation of further ISO/IATF standards required for the business.
- When required support, advise on and implement other business wide systems to include MES, PLM, ERP/MRP, JIRA and CRM
- Educated to degree level in a materials or engineering discipline
- A relevant professional certification relating to Quality e.g. CQI
- Experience of working in a quality function within a technical field such as electronics, semiconductor, automotive or biomedical manufacturing and/or a research and development environment
- A team player with a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to handle time pressured challenges calmly and effectively.
- Experience of Automotive and/or Aerospace Standards e.g. IATF 16949, AEC-Q100 and AS 9100 respectively
- Understanding of managing an ISO 9001 certified EQMS
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 (Safety Management), ISO 13485 (biomedical) ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) is advantageous.
- Management to completion any verification of corrective actions associated with the findings of Internal/Supplier/Customer Audits and internal investigations (see below)
- Proficiency, teaching and consulting with members of staff in the use of SPC, FMEA, 8D, DoE and LSS manufacturing approaches within an operations, development, research, and production environment
- Supporting the implementation and active management of KPIs within all EQMS processes.
- Understand the concept of Measurement Systems Analysis, Guage RnR, Ppk and Cpk
- Understanding the structure, development and management of the chosen gated NPI process
- Proficiency to work collaboratively and manage troubleshooting projects to identify root causes and derive effective solutions to minimise production downtime
- Possesses an understanding of supplier onboarding and approval activities (to include PPAP) and can manage these to completion
- Possess a strong understanding of Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) and have the ability to manage their integration into the business to completion
- The ability to draft all forms of documents (SOPs, WIs, RAs templates and records)
- An enthusiastic approach to contribute toward the growth of an exciting new company, sharing experiences and applying it to new and novel activities at the leading edge of material technology
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to contribute and encourage ideas generation to senior management
- Effectively communicate technical information, and to report on status of work in a timely manner to senior management
- Ability to present information clearly and appropriately for the audience
- Respect and adherence to confidentiality and critical matters
- Responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by complying with company policies and processes and all relevant regulations including the use of PPE, as appropriate to the level and scope of the role. This includes participation in health and safety training and reporting of any potential hazards or breaches of safety protocols in the appropriate manner.
