- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure all learners make progress.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement engaging schemes of work and resources.
- Contributing to the wider school community through involvement in extra-curricular activities and events.
- Keeping up to date with developments in the English curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching literature, language, and literacy.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A creative approach to lesson planning and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
