Test Analyst - 2 weeks Contract – £300/day Outside IR35 – Hybrid London – SCC FLEX CONTRACTWe are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for Sage X3 ERP system implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP functionalities, business processes, and testing methodologies, ensuring software reliability and compliance with business requirements.Your responsibilities as a Test Analyst:
  • Develop and maintain test scripts for various Sage X3 modules, including finance, distribution, manufacturing, and inventory management.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to validate system integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure test cases align with business processes and regulatory requirements for successful ERP implementation.
  • Prepare test data, execute test plans, and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Support training and user documentation, contributing to overall system usability and efficiency.
As a suitable Test Analyst, you will have:
  • Strong knowledge of Sage X3 ERP and its modules, with hands-on experience in system testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (optional, depending on company needs).
  • Experience writing detailed, structured test scripts and executing test plans.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with issue tracking software like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
