Start Date: September 2025GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Andover.This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves providing dedicated support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). - Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Supporting the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Adapting classroom activities and materials to suit individual needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Experience working with SEND (in school, care, or voluntary settings)
- Calm, adaptable, and empathetic nature
- Genuine desire to support inclusive education
- Confidence in working with pupils with special needs
- A strong interest in inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
