
SEMH Teaching Assistant

- Work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and social development.
- Provide emotional, physical, and social support to students, promoting their well-being.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources to meet the needs of pupils.
- Support the delivery of individual and group interventions aimed at improving behaviour and learning outcomes.
- Supervise and support pupils during project and sporting activities.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and patient individual with a passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills in a SEMH setting.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A DBS check (enhanced) on the Child & Adult Workforce, or a willingness to obtain one.
