This Alternative Provision supports students with SEMH needs and severe challenging behaviour. The school is seeking an experienced and resilient Maths Functional Skills Teacher/Tutor to start as soon as possible.Role Details:
Position: Maths Functional Skills Teacher/Tutor
Setting: Alternative Provision
Location: Croydon, CR0
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible), 9:30am-3:30pm (1hr lunch)
Hourly Pay: GBP20 – GBP30 (Depending on your experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-termAbout the School:
Specialist provision for students with SEMH and severe challenging behaviours
Small class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio
Focus on personalised learning and behaviour support strategies
Supportive team with experience in therapeutic approachesRequirements:
QTS or minimum 5 years experience teaching Maths
SEN experience, particularly with SEMH and challenging behaviour
Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce) on the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
