The role requires a strong background in Quality Control and experience in Quality Assurance.The RolePreparation of Tender and Project specific Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Plans in line with client specification requirementsReview of supplier's Inspection and Test Plans and procedures ensuring compliance with client specifications (including NDE, Testing and Welding)Review of suppliers completed certification and manufacturing data dossiersUndertake a range of verification activities relating to dimensional, NDT, welding and fabrication, coating, hydro-testing, and functional/factory acceptance testing and preservationPerform ISO 9001 based Internal process quality auditsSupport external supplier evaluation through audit / capability assessment in line with client specification/ ISO 9001 standardLiaise with clients and suppliers on quality control requirements and verification activitiesPerforming “off-site” verification activities, including witness inspection activitiesAct as QC representative at client and Supplier Kick-Off Meetings and Pre-Inspection MeetingsUndertake other reasonable duties within the assurance engineers capability as requested by the Manager of Assurance / commensurate with the roleThe PersonHNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification/experienceExperience in the creation of Inspection and Test PlansExperience in QC disciplines: dimensional, NDT, welding, coating, hydro-testing, and functional/factory acceptance testingExperience with interpretation of engineering drawingsInterested?
