- Developing sourcing strategies and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintaining and managing relationships with suppliers.
- Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand.
- Coordinating with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Performing risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
- Continuously improving purchasing methods and driving down external spend.
- Buyer/Material Planner will have:
- Proven experience as a Material Planner / Buyer in retail/fmcg/industrial manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Inc. supplier management would be desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
