- Maximise new business opportunities from a variety of sources such as digital online, marketing campaigns, external brokers and partnerships.
- Identify and develop revenue opportunities across assigned client accounts and partnerships, leveraging your knowledge of Aon’s broader services.
- Contribute to the SME client acquisition strategy by spotting growth potential in the sector.
- Work independently while collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional service to every client.
- Assess and enhance client risk and insurance programmes, implementing improvements where needed.
- Negotiate new business terms, mid-term adjustments, and cover extensions tailored to SME clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, highlighting the unique value they can offer to clients through coverage, service, and industry expertise.
- Commercial or Personal Lines insurance experience, ideally from a brokerage however full training will be provided
- Fully conversant with FCA principles, procedures and process
- Good understanding of insurance covers
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise work, delivering accurately and on time
- Embrace change and react positively
- Proven relationship management skills
- Must work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Experience of using the Acturis system is essential
