Gain access to comprehensive training programmes and resources that empower you to excel in your role and broaden your expertise.What you will do:- Collaborate closely with adult-focused practitioners in the areas of substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health to inform assessments and plans
- Work with children and families facing challenges such as complex neglect, sexual harm, and risks related to child exploitation and parental learning difficulties
- Engage with parents and the wider family network, utilising Family Group Conferencing to identify strengths and address problems
- Support families in changing interactions and behaviours, empowering them to make and sustain meaningful changes in their livesWhat will you need?To excel in this role, you will need to be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, and experienced in working with children and families in social work within a Local Authority team. While experience within family courts is desirable, your passion for relationship-based social work and ability to think creatively will be key. You will harness your skills to reflect on and build strong relationships with the families you support, making positive impacts.
