We are a team of electrical engineers, software developers, analytics & consulting experts and much more working on the transformation of tomorrow’s electric grid – to become cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable.The RoleThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span across multiple business units. Manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to stage gate quality and ISO9001 guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.Duties & responsibilities
  • Creation of project plans and management of project teams to deliver to plan
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across senior leadership
  • Taking responsibility for resource and financial control of projects, and reporting on project status
  • Quality assurance role ensuring that project deliverables are to standard before issue or delivery
  • Liaison with clients and project partners, working directly with them to resolve particular issues where they arise
  • Ensuring compliance with an understanding of health and safety requirements
Essential experience and qualifications
  • Experience of delivering processes and systems in relevant industries (electricity networks, renewables, software, control systems) with corresponding site commissioning experience
  • Excellent experience in Project Management Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall
  • Delivery of systems with a significant software component, whether bespoke or product
  • Project management skills including an ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, using internal staff, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Experience of successful financial management of projects
  • Experience in client relationship management
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
