- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, mature, and manage projects within programmes.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects and teams in a dynamic environment.
- Act as the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects.
- Manage suppliers and sub-contractors effectively.
- Develop detailed plans and timelines for projects and ensure alignment with overall program goals.
- Track progress, identify risks and issues, and report deviations from plans promptly.
- Proactively problem-solve and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or issues.
- Report project status and progress to senior stakeholders regularly.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Support and assist the Head of New Product Introduction with all aspects of project management.
- Experience in project management or leadership roles, preferably in innovative engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Planning and scheduling experience, including critical path analysis.
- Experience managing risks, opportunities, and issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to track and report project progress effectively.
- Knowledge of project management best practices, tools, and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Relevant project management qualifications or certifications (e.g., APMP, PRINCE2).
