- Assisting the engineering team in carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Ensuring Health, Safety & Environmental standards are maintained and safe working procedures are followed.
- Providing first-line technical expertise and troubleshooting to minimise plant downtime.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to process control systems in collaboration with relevant peers.
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship, ensuring robust repairs that prevent recurrence of faults.
- A completed electrical apprenticeship or a recognized electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar).
- Experience in heavy Industrial industries (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Overhead cranes & associated safety systems.
- PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley) including HMIs.
- AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems.
- Variable speed motor control (inverters, converters, and speed feedback devices).
- Interpretation of electrical drawings.
- Awareness of safety-related control systems.
