Location: Talacre, UKProject: ENI Liverpool Bay - Decommissioning & Carbon Capture & StorageContract Type: Contractor, Full-Time (up to 5.5 days/week) 6-12 month durationIR35 Status: OutsideJoin out client at the forefront of energy transition and offshore innovation. As Site Quality Control Manager, you'll lead a team of 10 supervisors and inspectors, ensuring the highest standards of quality control across our ENI Liverpool Bay Project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major decommissioning and carbon capture initiative, shaping the future of sustainable energy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate site Quality Control activities across welding, painting, mechanical, and other disciplinesManage and mentor a team of QC Supervisors and Inspectors, ensuring seamless execution of quality tasksServe as the primary point of contact for all QC-related matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholdersSupport the Project Quality Manager in defining and implementing the Project Quality Control SystemAllocate QC responsibilities across project areas and ensure effective onsite coordinationOversee and verify all internal and subcontracted tests, inspections, and documentation, including mechanical completionEnsure full compliance with the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and distribute QC plans/procedures accordinglyMaintain accurate documentation and records to support project completion and quality reviewsCollect and report QC data for project reviews and continuous improvementWhat We're Looking ForExperience: Minimum 10 years in a QC management role within offshore Oil & Gas project environmentsEducation: Engineering degree requiredTechnical Expertise: Strong knowledge of welding processes, Oil & Gas facilities, and pipeline systemsCertifications: Welding Inspector certification is a strong advantageWhat's on OfferA dynamic role in a high-impact project contributing to energy transitionCompetitive contractor terms with flexibilityOpportunity to work on cutting-edge decommissioning and carbon capture technologiesAbout NRL
