Mobile (Dealership based) Smart Repair Technician Vacancy working at Plymouth, Exeter, Paignton or Honiton dealerships.
  • Fully kitted out Van and work on site at one of these dealerships.
  • Up To £40,000 Salary + Bonus + Overtime £50,000 OTE
  • Monday To Friday 8am - 5pm
  • No Weekends
We're looking for a skilled Mobile Cosmetic Paint Technician to join our Mobile Operations team, reporting to the Smart Operations Manager. Working from one of our cutting-edge mobile units, you'll travel to our dealership sites across the West Country - including Plymouth, Exeter, Paignton, and Honiton - delivering high-quality cosmetic paint repairs and wheel refinish work. From preparation to the final finish, you'll take pride in your craft and maintain our high standards of vehicle presentation.Our client is a trusted, family-run automotive group serving the South and South-West of England.   • Perform cosmetic paint repairs on vehicle surfaces and alloy wheels.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring correct procedures and materials are used.
  • Maintain your mobile unit and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Follow work instructions accurately and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Supervise team members when required and collaborate across departments.
  • Carry out basic appraisals and provide accurate repair estimates.
  • Communicate repair needs and updates with dealership staff.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in vehicle paint preparation and refinishing.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
