Oversee daily workshop operations and manage production schedules
Lead and motivate a skilled team to meet production targets
Inspect production and incoming goods to maintain quality standards
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring regular servicing and inspections
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and distribution teams
Interpret technical drawings for job planning and cost estimation
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and quality management systems

The ideal Workshop Supervisor candidate:

Proven experience within a fabrication/machining workshop
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage is a plus
