Academics Supply Agency is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team. If you're looking for an exciting role where you can make a difference in the classroom, supporting students and teachers, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular class teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and help students stay on track with their work.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
- Provide support to students with their learning, offering guidance and encouragement where needed.
- Ensure that students follow the school's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff, assisting in their development and tracking.
- Experience working with young people (in a classroom, sports setting, or similar).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Proactive and adaptable, able to handle a variety of school settings and age groups..
- No formal teaching qualifications required, but experience in a supervisory or support role is a bonus.
