
Maintenance Engineer

- Lead and manage the maintenance team and oversee external contractors as required.
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance systems to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
- Design, specify, and install electrical systems for capital projects, maintenance, and upgrades while controlling expenditure within authorised budgets.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Act as a technical authority on all electrical matters within the business.
- Support and develop team capabilities through training and mentorship.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies including HSE and EA.
- (ATEX/CompEx knowledge desirable but training can be provided.)
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
- A salary in the region of £50,000 - £55,000
- 40-hour working week (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
