- Act as the SME for Titian Mosaic (v7, 9)—help to optimize its usage, integrations, and workflows across multiple labs and scientific domains.
- Support the design of the architecture of a new or modernized sample management system to meet current and future R&D needs.
- Leverage knowledge of Mosaic APIs to drive automation, integration, and extensibility with other platforms (LIMS, ELN, SDMS, etc.).
- Conduct detailed analysis of current sample management workflows; gather and refine requirements in collaboration with scientists, logistics, and IT teams.
- Evaluate alternative or complementary modern sample management platforms and contribute to system selection processes.
- Translate lab requirements into technical specs and user stories for development/configuration teams.
- Participate in testing, validation, documentation, and user training.
- Proven expertise in scientific sample management systems; with a focus on Titian Mosaic (v7–9).
- Proven understanding of sample handling, tracking, registration, chain-of-custody, and regulatory concerns in agri-tech, biotech, or pharma.
- Experience with Mosaic APIs and integration strategies with external systems.
- Strong business analysis (BA) skills—able to facilitate workshops, map workflows, document requirements, and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Capable of thinking at the system architecture level—designing scalable, configurable solutions for scientific sample logistics.
- Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Agricultural Sciences or equivalent industry experience with a focus on sample management roles
- Familiarity with modern sample management tools such as Benchling, LabWare, or Labguru.
- Understanding of logistics, storage, and temperature-controlled sample transport in a regulated environment.
- Programming/scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, SQL) is a plus, but not required.
