The VacancyIan Farmer Associates, a member of RSK Group Ltd, are looking for an Engineering Geologist to join their team in Glasgow. This is a full-time, permanent position.Responsibilities include:
  • Supervision of ground investigations, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
  • Trial pitting / Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
  • Project Management of ground investigations
  • Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies
  • Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
Person Specification:Ideally you will have the following attributes:
  • A geology / earth sciences degree
  • Good time keeping
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Project Management skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel and work away from home
  • Be within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or be prepared to re-locate
  • CSCS Card & First Aid Training
  • SSSTS
