We’re recruiting an English teacher for a fantastic secondary school in Middlesbrough, where your enthusiasm and expertise can make a real difference.About the Role:Your responsibilities will include:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lesson suited to the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to student progress and development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Stay up to date with educational best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide at least two professional employment references.

  • A relevant degree in English or a related field.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
