• We are seeking driven, caring, and dedicated children’s social workers to support our valued children and families. Our approach centres around relationships—our social workers remain involved from the point a family needs support until they no longer require statutory services, ensuring continuity and stability for the families, which they have found extremely important.
• In this role as a Senior Practitioner within Stockport Family, you will have the opportunity to create long-term relationships with the families you assist, witnessing first-hand the impact of your hard work. Engage in performance management, mentor new social workers, and manage a focused yet complex caseload to further your professional journey and expand your social work knowledge.

• Establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with families
• Manage and co-ordinate interventions from the initial point of contact to final disengagement
• Support Team Leaders with performance management and development of student and ASYE social workers
• Focus on reducing transition points for families to ensure continuous support
• Maintain a reduced, more complex caseload for personal and professional development
• Participate in the court processes, including private and public proceedings, and pre-proceedings procedures
