Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent.
Working Hours/Flexibility: 40 hours per week.What can you expect?Our Manufacturing Departments play a critical role in delivering operational excellence, product quality, and continuous improvement across our production sites—ensuring manufacturing processes that meet customer expectations in over 145 countries.As a participant in the Future Leadership Programme, you will undertake a series of rotational placements across core manufacturing functions including Production, Biochip Formulation, Packing, Serum Processing, Quality, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Dispense, Logistics and Engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Gaining a solid understanding of medical manufacturing by undertaking hands-on duties on the production floor.
- Learning each teams SOPs from the ground up by being hands-on during your rotations
- Ensuring productivity targets are met / exceeded in each of the tams you work in- though hands-on conribution
- Providing operational support to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing departments.
- Learning and following our medical equipment through the full manufacturing lifecycle.
- Assisting with improvement projects using Lean methodologies.
- Supporting process optimisation, fault diagnosis, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and manufacturing excellence.
Essential criteria:
- Qualified to A levels or above.
- Demonstrable strong work ethic or achievements during studies or work.
- A willingness to be extremely hands-on in multiple manufacturing team placemements
- Ambition and self-motivation, supported by a desire for a career within manufacturing.
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset with evidence of initiative and teamwork.
- Strong communication skills suited to different level of stakeholders.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Eligibility to work within the UK.
- Prevous experience or placement within a manufacturing department.
- Willingness to travel across our manufacturing sites in Northern Ireland. .
- Understanding of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma tools.
