A welcoming primary school in Blackpool is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated EYFS team this September.About the Role:You’ll be working alongside the class teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. This is a full-time role during term time, ideal for someone who is passionate about early education and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist in planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate activities
- Help maintain a secure and welcoming classroom environment
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
