We have a great opportunity for a BMS Technical Manager to join our SES team in the Central area. To be based at our Birmingham office.Reporting into the BMS Principal Technical Manager you will provide support to live projects and tenders ensuring BMS strategies, designs, submittals installations and commissioning provide compliant solutions.Some of the other Key Accountabilities include:
  • Undertake BMS Bid Engineering Reviews on all high risk/opportunity BMS bids & tenders
  • Agree procurement strategy for the BMS on tenders and opportunities in specified sectors in accordance with overall bid strategies and regional workload.
  • BMS technical accountability for allocated regional projects in accordance with the Operating Framework.
  • Validate the BMS design on allocated projects through the design review and SES IPD process on projects.
  • Undertake project performance audits and NPS measurement on agreed key projects & report to Senior Management.
  • Delivering the BMS strategy by communicating and promoting strategic initiatives across the SES North business.
  • Technical coaching, mentoring and support of Project Managers, Preconstruction Leaders & Project Engineers on BMS aspects.
  • Industry knowledge and use of innovative SMART building solutions – thinking outside of the box.
