Our client is looking for a Private Client ParalegalAssist in the preparation and drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and related documentationSupport the administration of estates from initial instructions through to final distribution, including obtaining probateLiaise with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals (e.g. accountants, HMRC)Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, case law, and best practicesPrepare inheritance tax forms and other HMRC documentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date client files and recordsAttend client meetings (in person or virtually) and prepare attendance notesManage deadlines and ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal regulationsProvide general administrative support to the Private Client teamEdinburgh Great firmPrior experience working in a private client department is highly desirableStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential informationExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systemsA successful firmA competitive salary and great working environment
