Teaching Assistant
Location: Bramhall, Stockport
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour (PAYE or umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Part-time afternoons)
Contract: Long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity
Start Date: As soon as possibleReeson Education is recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bramhall, Stockport. This is a part-time role, supporting KS1 pupils with a range of special educational needs.The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with children and provide both one-to-one and small group support. You will work across a KS1 class, supporting around four to five children with additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence.The role of Teaching Assistant includes:
  • Supporting KS1 pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging engagement, independence and progress
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Creating a nurturing and supportive environment
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
  • Previous experience working with SEND pupils in a primary setting
  • Patience, adaptability and strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
  • Commitment to a long-term, part-time role
