About The RoleNight Care & Support AssistantLocation: Dorset House Residential Home, Hamworthy, BH15 4HLPay rate: £12.50 to £12.75 per hour + paid breaksShift: 8:00pm to 08.00amHours: Full time & Part Time available (to include alternate weekends)We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care & Support Assistant to join our care team at Dorset House, our caring and friendly residential care home near to Upton Country Park and Poole Quay. Located in Hamworthy, Poole, BH15 4HL.Who we are looking for:Dorset House is keen to meet people with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.You'll need to be naturally compassionate and of course understanding of others.Previous care experience is not essential for our Night Care & Support Team.You may be in a customer care role or have helped within your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.If this sounds like you then we would love for you to join the team!What you will be doing:
  • Delivering excellent person-centred care, focusing on the care needs of each individual resident with dignity and compassion.
  • Following the care plans of our residents and fulfilling their personal needs - supporting with washing, dressing, toileting, food, drink & mobility.
  • Building relationships and providing companionship - our residents wellbeing is paramount.
  • Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible.
  • Working as part of a team to create a safe, warm, friendly & welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors in their home.
