Description:Regent Gardens Medical Centre is pleased to offer a post for an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our existing supportive and friendly nursing team in caring for our 11000 patients. We are a GP training practice in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow, and strive to provide high quality, caring and personal healthcare services to our patient population. We utilise a holistic approach and our practice benefits from our in-house Primary Care Chaplaincy service for patients. We are seeking a General Practice Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience in long-term condition management, ideally with a non-medical prescribing qualification. The post will be 30 hours per week, salary commensurate with experience, and will primarily involve long-term condition management in addition to cervical smear screening and general nursing care. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, empathy and the ability to work both autonomously, and part of a team. The practice provides a supportive environment for continued professional development, and the successful applicant will be motivated to develop new skills. Systems currently in use are Vision and Docman. Experience with these would be advantageous but training can be given. All applicants should hold a valid NMC registration, Enhanced Disclosure and be eligible to work in the UK.
