- Analyse workflows, systems and operational requirements to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
- Liaise with departmental stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, mapping "as-is" and "to-be" scenarios.
- Research, assess and recommend software or system enhancements to support business objectives.
- Prepare clear business cases for projects, including cost and time estimates, resource needs and risk assessments.
- Define project deliverables and ensure progress is communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
- Support IT development initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle, including testing, training, and post-implementation review.
- Ensure project outcomes meet agreed budgets, timelines and quality standards.
- Translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical colleagues and senior management.
- Prepare documentation such as specifications, reports, user guides and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops, briefings and user acceptance testing sessions.
- Build collaborative relationships across the business, suppliers, and IT partners to ensure smooth delivery and change adoption.
- Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement across the IT and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst delivering IT or ERP projects.
- Track record of involvement in end-to-end project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to testing, implementation and support.
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ownership of issues and ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Third-level qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in an IT, business or related discipline.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours to support critical project deadlines.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport to travel between sites if required.
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Previous involvement in ERP implementation or upgrade projects, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems.
- Degree specialising in Business Information Systems, Computing or similar fields.
- Experience in developing training materials and supporting end-users through technology change.
