- BSc Degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Member of CSP
- Membership of appropriate special interest group (e.g. POGP)
- Post graduate education/course in PH related topic
- oPost graduate experience in musculoskeletal or pelvic health physiotherapy
- oKnowledge and understanding of conditions relevant to pelvic health
- oExperience of (at least 1 year) working within a NHS environment
- oExperience of multidisciplinary and inter-agency working
- Previous experience at Band 6 level in OPD or PH within the NHS
- Experience of supervising students and/or therapy assistants
- Experience on UK emergency duty rota
- Experience co-ordinating and conducting programmes and classes
- Experience managing pelvic floor dysfunction
- Ability to use and apply a range of assessment and treatment techniques and approaches to the management of pelvic health conditions.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate as appropriate and to manage time effectively.
- Ability to remain updated with professional practice and research and integrate this into daily patient management.
- Understand the legal responsibilities of the profession
- Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust's policies of data protection, equal opportunities and health and safety and meet the differing needs of the patients
- Undertaken service reviews/audit projects
- Committee membership e.g. health & safety
- Used KSF review system
- Taught peers or other health professionals
