Contract: Full-timeRemedy Education are looking for an experienced Music Technology Teacher to join a specialist SEMH college in Islington. The college works with 16-18 year olds, many of whom may need extra support or have struggled in mainstream education. They use music and the creative arts to re-engage learners through workshops, performances and project-based learning.The role will involve teaching Music Technology to KS5 learners (up to A-Level standard), planning and delivering creative lessons and supporting students to achieve their goals. Experience teaching the RSL Music Practitioner syllabus would be a bonus, but not essential.Requirements:Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PTLLS or equivalent)Strong subject knowledge in Music/Music TechExperience working with young people, ideally within SEN or alternative settingsA genuine passion for helping students progress through creative learningIf you're available to start straight away and interested in this role, please apply with your CV or contact Zeki at Remedy Education for more details.
