Are you a qualified Child Protection social worker, who is passionate about improving families and protecting the well-being of children? We are looking for an enthusiastic worker to join our Children and Families team with Highlands Council, someone who is committed to providing the best outcomes for children. The role offers a competitive rate of up to £40 per hour, with a minimum of 3 months work.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage your own caseload
  • Carry out child referrals and registrations
  • Assessing Referrals Received
  • Report Writing
  • General child & family work
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in social work or equivalent
  • Child Protection Qualification
  • Member of the Scotland Social Service Council (SSSC)
  • Member of the PVG scheme
  • The ability to work independently, and show excellent organisational skills
