The role focuses on direct work with children and young people to prevent offending and re-offending through evidence-based interventions and thorough assessment.What You Can Expect:Hybrid working, with office base in St Helens and community-based visitsOccasional court presence required in LiverpoolFriendly, professional team with strong management supportChild First principles at the heart of all interventionsDuties and Responsibilities:Complete high-quality assessments and reports for court and panelMaintain accurate, timely records on relevant systemsDeliver targeted interventions to reduce offendingManage an allocated caseload and meet statutory timescalesCover Youth Justice duty and attend court when requiredRequirements:Qualified Social Worker (SWE), NPS Probation Officer, or experienced Youth Justice Practitioner with PCEPExtensive youth justice experience essential – must hit the ground runningStrong knowledge of court processes, child-first practice, and safeguardingExcellent communication and caseload management skillsIf you’re ready to make an immediate impact in a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you.Contact: Emily Cooper – 07745200325 |
