- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a STEM subject such as Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering - due to the analytical requirements for this role people from Physics or Mathematics backgrounds tend to do very well
- Good prgoramming knowledge in Python

- Any experience in the following is beneficial: IP networking, scripting experience, use of multiple operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows)
- Writing automation tests using Python
- Validating the product ensuring it meets the requirements specification.
- Validating delivered User Stories and Bug fixes
- Writing and running Test Cases and Test Plans
- Running regression tests to verify functional and system integrity
- Supporting the development team by replicating field issues
- Reporting issues via the bug-tracking tool
- Participating in developing testing strategies
- Working within Agile development teams
