Job Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £12.58 per hour
Hours: 38.25 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 14:30
Overtime may be required.Job Description:We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative to join our team in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on role that involves manual work and heavy lifting, making it ideal for someone with a practical mindset and a strong work ethic.Full training will be provided; however, previous experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment is beneficial.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical or electronic components according to technical drawings or instructions
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks, including:
  • Cutting (Sawing)
  • Tapping (Producing threads)
  • Assembly (Fixings)
  • Inspect finished products for quality, defects, or inconsistencies
  • Package and label completed units
  • Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules
  • Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
