Nursing Home ManagerCroydon, South London£80,000 per annumTRC is working with one of the leading providers of residential and nursing care homes in the UK. Our client operates in the South of the country and is seeking a nurse registered manager for their 45 bedded service in Croydon.The home will support 45 adults (working age adults to older age adults) with a neuro-degenerative condition, mental health diagnosis, acquired brain injury/traumatic brain injury, varying degrees of physical disabilities and an expectation to present with behaviours at times that may challenge.PLEASE NOTE: An active NMC pin isn't essential for this position, however, is desired (RMN, RGN or RNLD). My client would consider a non-clinical manager with experience of managing nursing services.The Role:The registered manager will have overall responsibility for the management and development of the service, and the efficient deployment of resources to ensure the safety of service users and safe. (Not exhaustive).Managing the day-to-day running of the services and coordinating its operations.To manage and ensure the smooth running of the service.Direct line management of the clinical lead and ensuring arrangements are secured to ensure that this post holder receives appropriate levels of clinical supervision from the identified external party.Train, supervise, appraise, line manage and retain all support staff for the service.To be conversant with the Mental Health Act 1983 and awareness of Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.To be conversant with the main provisions of the health and safety at work and the COSHH Regulations and to ensure that all staff adhere to the policies and procedures accordingly.Regular health and safety walks to ensure the environment is suitable for all our service users.Ensure that all residents are subject to ongoing MDT assessments to determine their individual needs, in order to accurately formulate care plans and risk assessments which are 'Person Centred'.Ensure CQC requirements are upheld at all times.Benefits:25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidaysQuarterly bonus opportunitiesTraining and development opportunitiesCareer advancement opportunitiesRetail discounts - food shopping, clothes, electronicsTravel discounts for holidaysEnergy bill savings!Online courses virtual, live and interactive - upskill yourselfCounselling 24/7, confidentialRefer a friend!
