Position - Piping Supervisor
Location - Wilton, Redcar
Project -Shutdown
Duration - 4 Weeks
Start - 15th September 2025Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of tradesmen to execute piping installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Coordinate with project management to develop work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Monitor progress, identify any issues or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to tradesmen, resolving any technical issues that may arise during the project.
- Maintain accurate records of work activities, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in piping supervision within industrial settings, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting, CCSNG Supervisor card) preferred.
