We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Bank Support Workers.These roles are based in Reading, where we have a residential home for 7 adults with complex physical, medical, and learning needs and a supported living service for 5 adults with learning disabilities. The people who live with us need full support in all aspects of their lives. What you’ll be doing:
  • All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.
  • In-house activities - baking, art/crafts, board games, sensory, reading etc.
  • Outdoor activities – Clubs, pubs, lunch out, keeping in touch with families, swimming, holidays, shopping, and planning.
  • Lone working may be required.
  • You will need to have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts that include - Early 7.30 am to 2.45 pm, late 2.15 pm to 9:30 pm and nights if needed. Shift times may change to suit the needs of the people we support.
  • The position will involve working across both of our services and will also involve supporting people within their own homes out in the community.
