COMPLIANCE MONITORING OFFICER
WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)Our Risk and Compliance team are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Compliance Monitoring Officer. You will play a vital role in providing professional advice and assistance across the Bank ensuring it continues to provide exemplary standards of service with the right outcomes for our customers whilst complying with regulatory obligations.Ideally you will be based in our Wellingborough head office, and you will enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working.WHY JOIN US?Uniquely because of the size of the Bank you will have an overview of and exposure to all aspects of the Bank and will have the opportunity to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels.   • Completing regular Compliance Monitoring engagements in accordance with the annual monitoring plan.
  • Producing high quality monitoring reports in a timely manner, clearly identifying issues, root cause and actions.
  • Monitoring and analysing the Bank’s functions, against relevant FCA and PRA rules and regulations and identify areas of improvement, to support our culture of good customer outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with all business areas to promote a strong compliance culture across the Bank.
  • Assisting the Compliance team with other duties as required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Previous experience working in Compliance Monitoring, Quality Assurance role, or Internal Audit within an FCA regulated environment.
  • Good working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements across the Bank’s activities.
  • A working understanding of outcomes based regulatory compliance work.
  • Delivery of the above through analysis of client files, procedures, processes, record keeping.
  • Understanding the application of 3 Lines of Defence Model and delivering an effective 2nd Line of defence in the application of oversight and assurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
