Regional HGV Driver - Class 2 - Based at Reading, RG5 4QPNo Overnights - Be Home Every Night!Drive Your HGV Career Forward with Travis Perkins!As part of our Regional Operations Support Team, our Regional HGV Drivers provide driving cover across 4 branches within the Reading area - supporting holidays, absences, and periods of peak demand.What's in it for you?
  • Sociable hours - Monday to Friday, 6:30am-4:00pm, with alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am-12:00pm). No overnights or late evenings.

What will you be doing?You'll be delivering building materials from our Reading branch to local customers, ensuring all goods are safely secured and compliant. Using a HIAB (full training provided if needed), you'll typically complete around 14 deliveries a day, acting as a professional and friendly face of our business on the road.What we're looking for:
  • Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Up-to-date CPC qualification
  • Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
  • We'll pay for your Hiab training if needed.
  • A customer-first attitude - You'll be confident building relationships and delivering excellent service.
  • A safety-first mindset - Taking care on the road and in the yard.
