Due to my clients highly successful track record to date, they have seen an influx of fascinating and high-level technical projects. Off the back of this, they are looking for a junior to mid-weight technical analyst/consultant to join their core team.
Location - Home-based with regular travelResponsibilities & TasksThe ideal candidate will have 1+ years of industry experience and confidence in environmental management, carbon accounting, impact assessments, climate finance, etc. You will be a passionate and committed individual of a confident nature. You should be happy working remotely under instruction, whilst involved in virtual teams and be prepared to travel as and when required.
  • You will be involved in projects from the outset and therefore need to be comfortable in fast paced environments.
  • Significant training will be provided in various ESG and sustainability-related fields for the successful candidate.
  • As a small all-remote company, my client pride themselves on efficient virtual communications (Slack, Zoom, Teams etc). They offer flexibility and employee well-being to facilitate this working pattern.
  • Candidates based outside the UK will be considered, but do need to be located within +/- 2 hours of GMT.
Ideally You Will Have The Following
  • Background in environmental studies/sciences with at least 1-1.5 years of experience in the industry (a strong graduate will be considered if you have the relevant technical expertise and strengths).
  • Experience/knowledge of carbon, environmental management or engineering, conservation, biodiversity, environmental or sustainability consulting etc. (or a Masters' degree).
  • Skills such as carbon foot printing/accounting, environmental impact assessments and GIS. An interest in TCFD and CPD is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced consultancy environment and workload.
  • Comfortable with virtual communications.
  • High-level professional writing skills (for report and project writing).
  • English-speaking is a must, along with either French, Italian, German, Portuguese or Spanish speaking & writing proficiency.
