Full-Time | September Start | Specialist SEND SettingWe’re on the lookout for a compassionate, committed Teaching Assistant to join a specialist autism setting in Sunderland this September.This school supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated communication and learning needs providing a structured, understanding environment where every pupil can succeed.If you’ve got a calm approach, a genuine interest in supporting neurodivergent pupils, and the patience to help build confidence and communication, this could be the perfect fit.Your role will include:Providing consistent support to pupils with Autism and related needsAssisting with communication strategies, behaviour support, and structured routinesHelping pupils access learning and develop key life skillsWorking closely with specialist teachers, therapists, and pastoral teamsWe’re looking for someone who:Has experience working with Autism, SEND, or in a care/support roleBrings a patient, understanding approach to every situationIs flexible, resilient, and positive in a team environmentCan commit to a full-time role from SeptemberThrive trained?
