With decades of experience, we serve a diverse range of industries including power generation, marine, oil & gas, and industrial processing.Due to continued growth and demand, we are now looking to recruit skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitters to join our high-performing team.The Role:
As a Mechanical Assembly Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the precision assembly of heat exchangers and associated equipment. You’ll be working from engineering drawings to build bespoke thermal units to exacting standards, ensuring the reliability and performance our clients expect.Key Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical components and heat exchanger units according to engineering drawings and specificationsFit, align, and secure parts using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instrumentsConduct pressure testing and quality checks on completed assembliesWork collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlinesEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards and proceduresMaintain a clean and organised work environmentWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience in mechanical assembly or fitting, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematicsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood understanding of health and safety in a workshop environmentTeam player with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitudeDesirable:Previous experience working with heat exchangers or pressure-tested equipmentRelevant engineering or mechanical qualifications/apprenticeshipWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for training and developmentA supportive and skilled team environmentThe chance to work on technically challenging and rewarding projects
