You bring a lot more.We’re working with a brilliant specialist school in Newcastle that supports children with autism and physical disabilities. They’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help create a learning environment that’s safe, supportive, and genuinely joyful.This is the kind of role where no two days are the same—but every day matters.Your role will include:Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with ASC, ADHD, and physical needsHelping to implement IEPs and adapting learning materials to suit individual needsSupporting social development and positive behaviour strategiesAssisting with personal care and using the school’s hydropool to support sensory and physical developmentWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and other TAs as part of a caring, collaborative teamWhat we’re looking for:Experience supporting children with autism and ADHD (personal experience welcome!)Someone patient, nurturing, and great at reading the roomExcellent teamwork and communication skillsConfidence to support physical needs and personal care with sensitivity and professionalismNice to have:Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or Nursery Nurse equivalent)
