A Machine Operator is required to join a steel manufacturing company based in Cradley Heath, working mornings and afternoons rotating weekly.You will be working on a CNC machine used to cut and drill steel. You will loading and unloading the machine, measuring materials using verniers, and you may also be doing some assembly work as and when required, using the components produced on site to assemble various structures.The duties for this role include;
  • Operating a CNC machine
  • Loading and unloading the machine
  • Assembling components together
  • Measuring the materials using a vernier
This position is on a temp basis to begin with, with potential of a long-term perm basis depending on work levels and performance. The role is working mornings and afternoons -
  • Working - 6am - 2pm / 1:30pm - 10pm (2pm - 8pm Fridays)
  • Paying - £13.00 per hour to start
  • Rising to £13.60 after 13 weeks
